If it is a school sponsored event. I am sure the school has you covered for any licensing issues.  What kind of Candy are you selling?  I want some.   Dr. Lorrie Klein

Check with the office at your school. If this is a school-sponsored fundraiser for a school program or activity, and they occur all the time, students usually are exempt from licensing. Problems occur when you are acting as an employee or contractor for a business and not for a school. If you want to sell candy on your own and donate the proceeds to the school, but the school isn't sponsoring the sale, then you have a different issue. You would need to check with your city clerk's office to find out if you would be considered a business.
