And, depending on the size and complexity of your business, you may need only to transfer the business license, or you may need a Buy/Sell Agreement with publishing in the paper of a transfer of assets. Is your business sole proprietor, LLC, Incorporated, etc.? This will make a difference in the transfer of your business, especially depending on state/local laws & regulations. It's possible it will be a simple business for sale transfer, but I would recommend seeking advice of legal counsel in your local area. Best of luck.
