Getting link from high pr websites might augor well in Yahoo and Bing search result, but this might not be the case with Google. Google is giving more importance to relevant websites than anything else on earth.Try to get as many text links for your website as far as possible.

Backlinks from high PR sites are more valuable than links from low PR sites. I don't even waste my time getting links from low PR sites. Why bother? Pagerank has no meaning anymore??? Show us some proof of that 1-liner instead of just making some broad unsubstantiated statement. Ever heard of 'Authority Sites'? These usually have some or high PR. I get link authority backlinks from authoritysites and I'd much rather get 10 backlinks from high PR sites than 100 backlinks from sites with noPR. Which would you rather have?
