Hello, I'm interested in setting up a U.S. subsidiary of an overseas non
profit (a South African based conservation organization). Does anyone out
there know if a) it's expensive to do so?
b) a lengthy or difficult process?
c) even possible?
If it is possible, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

In addition to the resources mentioned by JGabriel, you may want to visit
with an accountant. It may be more feasible to set up a new non-profit in the
U.S. rather than registering a subsidiary of one established in another
country.
