Should a patent being filed under an individual person vs a LLC?

When patenting an idea, should the patent be owned by an individual person vs. the person's LLC? Especially if down the line, a VC or angel will be sought after to fund the project. From a business standpoint, what are the implications setting it up one way versus the other?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
