Most federal grants are provided to your state or local government who then in turns put them out based on guidelines and need. Speak with your local government officials. While the micro loan may not meet your total needs - it could help you get working capital for your business. You can then look at different lenders for your toher needs. Example, let;s say you need $50K in total - $25K for equipment and $25K for working capital/startup expenses. Try to get the $25K from the micro loan program then find an equipment lender (there are many great ones) that can get you the equipment you need. Very hard to get an all inclusive loan - so, break it down by need and use of funds.
