communicating business and prospects. It helps in increasing traffic to the
websites as well create online presence. It is only a platform where we can
directly communicate with our target and communicate information regarding
our product and services.

on the ignition and driving out of your driveway without knowing where
you’re going or how you plan to get there.
Business planning helps define and guide:
An agreed route for your business
Your key objectives for the next three to five years and how they will be
achieved
Directions and timelines in which to achieve your goals
Your day-to-day operations and decisions.
A business plan can also be used as a benchmark to measure your progress
towards achieving your goals

Google+/GooglePlaces will hold some value for your website, as for Social
Media in particular, start with a blog and maybe one of the big two (facebook
or twitter) and test the waters.

strategy, because first of all you must find out if your target market even
uses Social Media enough for it to be a good way to communicate with them. If
you are targeting older individuals, it might be a better idea to focus on a
different aspect of Internet Marketing.
What other have said before me is pretty much the case, Linkedin works best
for B2B and facebook is probably the best general choice. Twitter and
Pinterest works more towards a younger demographic.
And as was mentioned earlier, to succeed with Social Media you must
constantly be putting out relevant content as just creating a profile is
simply not enough.

website. Then I would ask your ideal clients what social marketing platform
they use the most.
So, for example. My ideal clients are on LinkedIn and Twitter. They are
slowly (now) starting to move to Facebook. So I spend more time on LI and
Twitter right now. But have set up a FB page which I don't visit very often
-- maybe once a month.

customers with your facebook business page. I realize your time is important
and jumping around to countless websites trying to piece it all together is
more trouble then its worth. Here's what I show you how to do in my latest
small business book (it's free and you can download it from my website)
Step 1. Identify your target market.
Step 2. Create a Unique Selling Proposition.
Step 3. Create a professional looking business page
Step 4. Implement a tried and true facebook advertising campaign using
everything we learned in step 1 and 2.
Never throw your hard earned money away at marketing/advertising that CANNOT
be accurately, reliably and quickly measured.
Never throw your hard earned money away at marketing/advertising if you have
no idea who your target market is, and I am talking about demographics,
geographics and psychographics.

buying patterns and so on.
So that's all very specific to your business.
Then think about what you want to achieve by your use of social media.
Is it brand awareness?
Is it a content based approach or advertising?
Do you want the people to buy asap or are you mostly seeding the ground?
Think before you just do, because social media can end up using all your time
without getting any significant return on investment.
