Legally you are not required to register as a business. However, tax wise it would be a good idea to create a L.L.C. (limited liability company). Not only will this seperate your liability from your personal assets it also gives you a more professional front. They are easy to maintain compared to corporations and give you a few extra benefits (business checking, business credit, etc). So, even though you're not required it might be a worth wild idea. Best of Luck.
I, too, think that you will end up paying more to file your taxes. I wonder if this person could end up paying more for taxes. It is also possible that you will have to pay quarterly. Is that right?
Goodmorning and thank you, thank you so much for your advice. I have been busy building my brand and adding services to my business.
Have a happy and safe holiday to you and your families.

While it's true that a LLC does make you look more professional. If you're not generating huge sums from being a VA, then save the filing fees. Until you are generating huge incomes from it, then consider getting a LLC
