I reside in Florida. I am a certified technician and have a business tax ID and I operate by appointment only from my home. I have registered a fictitious name for my business but don't know what permits/licenses are needed to operate from home and also provide mobile service for a spray tanning business. My products are 100% natural so there is no health risk.

You need to be licenesed in order to get trust from the customer side.
Its good you are using natural products for your home business. Its great effort and nature friendly.
You might also want to consider talking to a lawyer or at least getting a consultation with one.
Sometimes the people working in those state offices don't provide you with all the neccessary information about licenses/permits and/or they give you the wrong information.
So to cover all your bases consult with a lawyer as well.

Good luck with your spray tan business. A couple friends of mine just opened up one of these businesses, and actually travel to events where groups (usually girls/women) all tan in bulk (for upcoming events like weddings, spring break, etc). They make good money, hopefully you can too!
