I would like to start my own book publishing business but have no idea how to
start. I have read backrounds and am currently learning how a publishing
business works. My problem is that I have no idea how to publish the actual
books. If I use a book printer where can I buy one. Do I have to fill out a
form for the business? Do I have to copyright a name? How old do you have to
be to start a business? How do I hire someone? How do I make an application
form? These are just a few questions so any other information would help.
Thanks.

suggest that you find one or more of the many FREE resources out there that
can work with you one-on-one. There are Small Business Development Centers
(SBDCs), SCORE and the SBA (local SBA offices) - these organization can
provide you free help to answer all these questions and the many more that
will crop up.
First things first - start with a business plan and while you research your
business plan, many of the issues you mention here will fall into place.
Start by searching for sample business plans to get your started then start
working on your own - using the free resources mentioned above.
