matttilley, If I understand correctly, you are trying to file an Article of Organization for your LLC in the state of California. Articles of Organization can be downloaded for free on the California Business Portal, managed by the state Secretary of State. It looks as though the form is only 1 page. While the form is available for free, there are filing costs, and in the case of an LLC the fee is $70. I would be wary of a third party company that is offering to file your documents for you. No business is required to go through a third party in order to file its documents with the state. In fact, the California Secretary of State has issued a fraud alert regarding misleading solicitations to California businesses on this topic.
