Hello everyone ijust wanted to knowif anyonecould give me some advice on the
best way to start building my business tha will not be so stressful. lol I am
a single mother of three and I want to build my business and still spend the
same amout of time that I spend with them. My business is called Clean Freaks
it is a cleaning company that i want to start with my business partner who is
also a single mother. It has always been my dream to ownmy own business and
since i spend 95% of my day cleaning i figured i might as well make a living
off of it . Please help

Cleaned and Confused
There are only so many hours in a day so you will need to make some
trade-offs. If your children are in school, you could clean while they are
gone, which would limit you to a part-time job, not a full time one. If you
were starting a business that could operated from your home in the evening
after the children are in bed, that would be helpful. Unfortunately, a
cleaning business can't be operated that way. You may want to visit with a
counselor at a small business development center or a womens business center
for guidance.

One approach that may be useful is talking to a mentor who could offer you specific guidance. Good luck!
The only advice that I can share from my own experience is find a unique
niche in your community that you can focus on. For example, in my community
there is large market for rug cleaning, but that means that there is also a
heap of competition.
So to balance that out I have focused just on Oriental rugs, as opposed to
area rugs. Obviously this has reduced my target audience, but it has ensured
that I am the leader in my niche. I do not know your community, but I am sure
that there is a cleaning service that you and your business partner can focus
on that will be unique and be a great business opportunity for you. Hope it
