Can anyone advise me as to how I go about setting up an online business that
sells US products while I am located in Australia. It is a dropship company
based in California that markets globally. I am uncertain as to whether I
need to register the business in the US and whether I need to collect state
taxes. Any information appreciated. Thanks.

Referring to our Starting a Business Guide will show you some of the laws set in place for registering a business. Tax laws differ depending on the state as well, so looking into individual state laws will give you a better idea. Hope this helps!
