I'm hoping someone can help me. I Live in Texas and we're interested in opening up a recreational oxygen bar....yes...like those seen in Vegas. My husband and I had a great experience at the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville. We've already researched some companies, but I'm just afraid of the legalities that go along with it. Of course, the companies are all going to tell us that it is definitely legal...they're trying to make a sale. I'm just looking for some answers before we end up making a large expense...

Hi SylverPryncess, Since you are interested in opening a business, have you come up with a business plan yet? We have a great Starting a Business Guide that may be useful to you. Many laws that govern businesses are at the state level, so it will be useful to look into Texas State's portal for more information or contact their reference desk. For business licenses and permits, feel free to use Business.gov's Permit Me Tool. I plugged in Texas for you and here is the list. Good luck in your endeavor!
