My husband & I are going to start a Recreational Vehicle campsite on a lake here in Minnesota.

We were wondering if there was any stimulus package money or government money available if we made it a handicap accessible campsite.

Grants are rarely available to for-profit businesses. However, you may be able to qualify for assistance from your state department of parks and recreation. You might also check with your state department of commerce to see if funding is available for businesses involved in tourism or in job creation, assuming you would need employees to develop the campground and for on-going maintenance.

Your banker should know if you qualify for Stimulus money. Be aware that the requirements are rigorous and time-consuming.
