Sub contracting, anyone using Subnet?

I've all set up for working with the government with all the registrations to get contracts. I've taken many classes, am part of teaming, and business matchmaking.  One problem, I'm not sufficient to take on the contacts that come up using my codes, etc. on fed biz ops. I provide a service, product development for apparel and accessories, including uniforms. I am not a manufacturer. I need to work with a prime that is. My SBA counselor suggested using subnet. When I go to subnet, there is no search engine for finding that prime contractor, just a long list that includes everything. I get discouraged and rarely look through the list, I don't have the time. Any suggestions?
