From a global perspective I think it is important for 1st world countries to assist with technology transfer to 3rd world countries through exporting old equipment to 3rd world countries and skills training. For instance rather than African countries sending raw cotton, why dont we send old looms to Africa and we keep the new ones, that way africa can also start processing cloth and capitch Out goes poverty
