I need the following:

1. Description of key technology trends and innovation areas in network security, e.g.,

- How is the technology changing?
- What new technologies are emerging and what are hottest areas of innovation?

2. Description of example innovative startups and emerging vendors in network security

- Names of at least 5-7 'cool' startup/emerging vendors in network security

- Some highlights on each of these vendors to know what's innovative/interesting about their technology.

Please post short and comprehensive answers.

I doubt anybody is willing to go that in depth Joe, unfortunately. Try asking your questions in smaller segments, I would also try to find a forum relevant to your specific niche request.
