Hello, I live in the Columbus, Ga area and I was looking into starting up a
teen nightclub. I was going to start of really small and then expand once my
business got off the ground. Im only 21 and dont have any previous business
management experience. Ive only went to college for it and dont even have my
degree yet. I was wondering how I would go about getting a start up loan on
here or some where else so I could get started. I dont need much, just money
for the building, layout of lights paints to decorate, food and a food stand
for it, maybe a pool table and 1 or 2 arcade games, other taxes and fees,
depending on the size of the building promotion and pay for really good
security.

with loans from family and friends and with personal funds. The SBA does not
lend money. Rather, they guarantee loans made by banks. Because of your age
and probable lack of credit history, your ability to obtain a start-up loan
is slim to zero.
You may want to share your business plan with a counselor at a small business
development center or a SCORE office in your area. Their services are free
and they can recommend how best to proceed.
