Hello there and hope everyone on the board is having a great week! I've spend countless hours on the Internet and phone and am hoping someone can save me a little time. I'm trying to find out which states require a telemarketing license/permit. I know this is decided on the state level of government and short of me calling each state and being bounced around a few government offices to talk to someone that isn't sure if that is the right answer... I would really appreciate any advice/answers you can give.

Here's a list of states that require registration by telemarketers located in, or selling to residents of the state.
The links below provide registration forms and information from the state government agency responsible for regulating telemarketers.
