If you are a for-profit business - your likelihood of getting a grant is poor. You could try contacting your local government offices that handle community grants and see if your business idea meets their needs. Or, search the SBIR and STTR grant programs to see if there is a request for a product or service like yours. If so, find out how to apply. If not, you could always write a white paper to the Department of health or any department to see if they would be interested in your service and requesting a grant for it. Another option - make your business a non-profit - then find other private foundations in your field or industry that have grants programs for products like yours. However, make sure your product/service will help them with their mission.
