I have an LLC company that I will like to change to a non-profit. Is it possible? What are the pros and cons?

Registering a non-profit is expensive and takes time and not all business
activities qualify for non-profit status. You may want to read through the
guidelines on the IRS web site to determine whether your business activity
qualifies. If it does, after you receive your authorization from the IRS, you
can re-register your business with your state and then begin soliciting
tax-deductible donations.

Hi there,  We have resources for nonprofit organizations, including resources for registering a nonprofit. The IRS also provides information about changing your business structure, if your business would qualify as a nonprofit as well.
