I have worked for some fortune 500 companies, all call centers are in India,
Costa Rica and panama.
I was watching cable last week, can't remember the channel but there were a
couple of shows called "how it's made" "Factory Made" "Technology"
Well, they showed a guy in Virginia that opened a call center in a small
studio he rented for 125/mo. He puchased 5 pc's complete setup from an
auction, $100 per pc, ordered basic internet service, and some how talked
with burger king regarding outsourcing the order window.
Burger King liked the idea and he was on a one year trial period.
When you pull up to the menu board your talking to someone at another
location and their entering your order. (Fewer errors on orders)
You pull up to the window, pay and get your order.
He's grown from 2 people (him and his cousin) to 7 employees.
So call centers are needed.
Good Luck

delete this if I'm breaking any rule; I have no association with this
company; I just love the tool). Look into the CallFire.com website. They
offer reasonable, user-based rates and deliver an amazing feature set for
call centers to home-based operators. You could hire your own complete
home-based sales force with all the tools you need to track their calls and
more. It's an amazing set of call center tools made for home-based
salespeople. I think you have a great idea and wish you the best.

Center idea is looking great but as mention above that first you need to know
that how many already doing same. How can you specify that you will get the
chance in presence of those big ones. Need to research of market and then
apply your resources.
