Throwing some things out to ponder as a community....

I like this place...

That said, not sure how long I am going to hang around...never was one that likes rules that stifle free speech, that stagnate forward thinking. I'm not a patient person, not a person who has EVER walked the traditional Job/Business path. If you are a moron, going to flat out say so...part of why we are where we find outselves as a nation is this whole Political Correctness thing. Forget the truth of what you say, are you being POLITICALLY CORRECT...who cares? Get over it, sorry that your kid is not good enough to make the little league team, but I am NOT going to make sure he/she gets a chance to play. Sports (like it or not) ARE abouting winning! You put up a post here as a so called professional that has DEAD LINKS in it, going to CALL YOU ON IT.

I love working, but not if it means abiding by a series of ignorant rules meant to 'KEEP US IN LINE'...IE...customer service...how many companys now have rules telling their employees how much time they should be spending with a customer! That is the stupidiest thing I have ever heard! If you do not have time for me, why should I spend my money in your retail establishment? I once had a manager come up to me and tell me I had spent WAY TO MUCH TIME chatting with a customer...I'd just finished writing up a $7,800 order...I quit on the spot. IF I am doing my job, if I am making YOU MONEY, stay out of my way. WHOOPS, again not politically correct is it?

Some suggestions...create some areas with less STRUCTURE....these are hard times, and there should be some boards here that have NOTHING to do with BUSINESS or finding a job. HECK, some of the best jobs and business relationships I have ever had occurred because someone saw me OUTSIDE the structured confines of the CORPORATE world...I look great in suit and ties, but it is not me....that said, give me a job to do, give me a corner office with BIG WINDOWS, and deal with the fact that I am going to come in late and wearing torn jeans, and you might be surprised what I could do for your company. People need to get out of the box, so why not provide if, you well, a place here in the confines of this site to have online Mixers, cyber meet and greets where we can talk about life, or the fact that our spouse has breast cancer, or offer advice on how to have a nice sweet flaky pie crust...when you roll out the dough use powdered sugar instead of flour...years ago I studied with a French Chef. In short, how about MAKING US A COMMUNITY, because community is the key to SUCCESSFUL networking.

I am into GREEN THINGS...doing some research around here, looking around, it turns out you guys have some INCREDIBLE GREEN RESOURCES...WHERE ARE THEY, why not make they BETTER KNOWN, why not have a WHOLE GREEN SECTION with easily found GREEN LINKS? Same could be said for other specialties. Being Green, I found those, and realize you have enough here to create a sub domain on this site geared JUST TO GREEN BUSINESS PEOPLE wanting to do GREEN BUSINESS with the government.

Business owners are risk takers, free thinkers...how about making this space a place for those kinds of people? Lets all let our hair down (yes, I have LONG HAIR), roll up our sleeves and do some SERIOUS NETWORKING, lets have some serious discussions, even some HEATED DEBATES. For some of you, get some thicker skin...A type personalities don't usually say things in a nice, wrapped in a bow way...we have people between us and employees for that very reason. You don't like the way I spoke to you...either come directly to me, or get over, step back for a moment and ask yourself if what I had to say was ON TARGET, even if not said in a politically correct way....with all due respect, and without pointing fingers, I don't have time for KINDERGARDEN IDIOTS and tattletails that run off to the Moderators whining that I did not give them a GOLD STAR before telling them they were/are idiots.

If you want my posts taken down, if I keep getting little WARNING LETTERS from Moderators here telling me to go look at TOS, then it ceases to be fun FOR ME, ceases to be a site I am going to WASTE MY TIME ON...being honest, I do not care either way, am not about to CHANGE so I can share what I have to offer with people....HELLO, read my posts....I'm offering some of you that need help my assistance FOR FREE, I am not here looking for a way to separate you from your capital...I'm not even looking for a job...those kind of fall into my lap even though I don't really want them to, and I occassionally even take one. Be surprised how many people actually seek me out, pay me to sit AT HOME in MY OFFICE doing what I do best in a way that makes them money.
