After devoting more than four decades to nursing in a traditional setting, I
became increasingly wearied, bored and felt stuck in a career that did not
offer autonomy and potential to earn more money. Motivated by interest in law
and a desire to use my transferable nursing skills, I pursued a second career
as nurse entrepreneur.
A home-based business costs more than money to maintain viability. In my zeal
for being "Boss" I have learned the following key factors crucial to the
success of a business:
1. Prioritize tasks
2. Start each day in prayer and Bible study
3. Exercise at least 30 minutes/ day
4. Eat a healthy breakfast, avoiding fats and sweets
5. Avoid distraction of social media, telephone, and television
6. Dress appropriately
7. Take 15 minute breaks as needed
8. Believe you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you
Discipline! Determination! Diligence...contributes to success!

important for small businesses and for home based businesses in particular.

recomment your products and services.
You can use social media to network online too, rather than waste time as you
imply.
Its important to realize when you are a one man/woman band, the brand you
have to develop is you.
