Hello mcb, I suggest reading the Business.gov Government Contracting page to find out more information about the processes for selling services and products to the Federal government. I also suggest visiting your state procurement agency to register as a contractor and find and bid on opportunities.

Don't make the mistake of think the 'government' is just the Federal Government. Also consider trying to do business with your state and local governments. I'm not sure if it would work in your business, but we sell trade show displays nationally and we have accounts with several different states. But you may be limited to just your own state. Keep in mind that it can be a lot of paperwork and redtape to get started, but it can then be a good source of business.
