I am new at trade name registering in tn.I was registered in the state of co, but moved to tn.I recently accepted a job in co. and sent a couple of workers to do the job,but found out later that tn does not require trade name registration.Will I get into any trouble for doing a job outside of tn without a registering a trade,or do I register in the state of co.
This question is confusing; are you asking if you register a buisness in one state can you legally operate in another? The answer to that is yes, as long as the buisness entity itself is legally established somewhere in the US it in theory can work anywhere; however, you must follow that state's tax laws, etc.
