The GSA Training Conference and Expo is an annual event for federal, state, and local government employees and military members who make or influence procurement decisions.
If yo-re selling to the government, this is your prime-target audience. Last year there were more than 9,000 attendees.

i think the key is to differentiate yourself - govt contracts often go to minority or small businesses if the projects are small in scope. Certainly worth goig after that business.
Its a great way to build networks as well.

wow, 9000 last year? Thats a pretty big turnout! I can understand why though - getting a gov contract is a bit of a holy grail for many businesses. Difficulty will be standing out amongst the other thousands of exhibitors. With that said, if you're not there you've got no chance.
