unpaid shares

i am in business under an LLC with two other partners and our restaurant has been operating for almost two years now. i have unfortunately been most of the time out of the U.S. which left my two partners to operate the restaurant.

 

Due to my absence, my partners have denied paying my shares as recorded under the bylaws of our LLC.

 

My question is : 'Is there a way for me to compel my partners to pay off my dividends without physically going back to the U.S.?

This is a civil matter; you could hire a lawyer when you are over seas to attempt to get back paid dividends. However, you may be required to show up to at least of the civil court hearings prior to allowing just your lawyer to show up. Most likely they'll be more willing to pay and not mess around if you are phyiscally in the US demanding what is 'rightfully' yours.
