I have a question regarding any US Regulations or Law that an IT company should comply to? Is there a manadatory compliance/regaulation/law that should be follow before the company can start?
All I know is ISO27001 but it's not a mandatory requirement for the company in US....
There is no special regulation for an Information Technology company. You can start an IT consulting company, IT programming firm, IT help desk, or IT sales, with no special requirement just because they are in Information Technology. You will follow what all U.S. companies follow. Yes, you can be certified by different organizations, but these are not federal or state mandates. If you can be more specific about the type of IT company, we can check further that specific type of IT business.
