microBusinesses are the smallest of businesses, often operated by only one person, and rarely with more than five. Micros are the backbone of the US economy, and will likely be the force that ultimately revitalizes our dismal economy. microBusinesses are not the same as 'small business'. Micros operate in a unique environment. Until recently microBusinesses have been largely ignored by the government, banks, insurance companies and other institutions that 'small business' has typically relied upon.
microBusinesses are made up of strong people who have decided to make it on their own. They are moms n' pops, single mothers, retired people, corporate dropouts, the 'uncredentialed', the unemployable, the undereducated, and many many others. microBusiness is a solution to poverty, and rampant unemployment; and we need encouragement, how-to information, microfinance, guidance and reinforcement. microBusiness can change the world of capitalism for the better.
