Hi! I heard that veterans and minorities as well as disabled people have better opportunities to sell to the government and obtain contracts. Is this information correct?

I think they did away with the SBA disadvantaged certification process. Supposedly, there were too many small businesses that qualify as small business disadvantage, so the government decided to do away with it all. However, if your company is already certified, then you are grandfathered-in

Actually, the SBD program was discontinued last year in October but it was replaced with the self-certification process.
