If there are directories in your niche, then yes you should add your website.
In addition, you can add your site to regular web directories. I suggest just
spending a few minutes each day and do this or just outsource to someone who
knows what they are doing.

Web Directories are still a good way to get quality one-way backlinks as long
as the directory is an on-approval, well moderated and pruned one, that looks
for relevancy, accuracy and a premium on its placement. Yahoo Directory for
instance inspite of the steep price, still makes a good difference to your
SERP. The big challenge is the approval process which is time consuming, but
