Can anyone shed some sight on goverment grants or lenders to help a person get started with funds on starting a new business? There are alot of sights to go to online, but most of them want to charge you. I know there is some help out there for me, can anyone give me some insight please?
You may want to visit with a counselor at a small business development
center, women's business center, or SCORE office. Their services are free and
they can evaluate your business plan. You do have one, right? You won't be
able to approach a lender without a comprehensive business plan that includes
financial statements. You can forget about a grant if you plan to start a
for-profit business.
