Where Do I Find Grants

Hi,

 

I'm trying to find a grant to keep my music production business going.  I used your Find Loans & Grants tool to find some financing and I found a bunch of loans.  But I only found one grant.  Doesn't the government provide grants for small businesses?

 

Please help.  Thanks!

Hi CharlesS! Thanks for your question! Unfortunately, the federal government does not provide grants for starting and expanding a business. Grants from the federal government are only available to non-commercial organizations, such as non-profits and educational institutions in areas such as, medicine, education, scientific research and technology development. The federal government also provides grants to state and local governments to assist them with economic development.
