My name is Crystal and I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. I work in the home health setting treating mainly senior citizens. In my experience, I have come across many patients who express that they are getting too old and unable to maintain their homes. Some of these patients do not have help form family members at all and some do have help but not enough to meet their everyday needs. Many of my patients do not want to go to nursing homes and they say the two assisted living facilities in our town are too costly. I often tell these patients that I wish I could just take all of them home with me and take care of them myself. I have a growing family of my own and for that reason I cannot bring my patients home with me but I have been looking into starting my own home care business. I do not really know where to start. If anyone can tell me who I need to talk to about business plans and or helpful websites, I would greatly appreciate it.
