I have an existing online store that sells dresses, but I need to offer more to be competitive. Is there some kind of compilation of businesses by type that the government has available? My existing line is sundresses.net, but I am willing to expand.

What do you mean by a 'compilation of businesses by type.'? Are you looking for funding?
I mean a directory of some kind. A place to find manufacturers by state and then by product, and then (hopefully) by some other kind of descriptor.
