I recently retired from the SBA and would be very willing to assist entrepreneurs during these difficult times. Currently I am working with a business incubator in Pittsburgh, Pa.,who is developing a training program for veterans interested in starting or expanding a small business.
I opine that OPM or the former employing Agency, the SBA in my case, is missing the boat by not taking advantage of the vast wealth of knowledge and experience of former Civil Servants willing to step back up to the plate.
Donn, thanks for your message! I have been in the process of searching for someone retired from the SBA in the Kansas City, MO/KS area that has experience with 8a & HUBZone certification. Is there a source that you are aware of (other than S.C.O.R.E) who can provide the names of retired SBA employees who can assist with government contract proposals and such?
