There are a lot of FREE affiliate programs out there. Most will give you free banners, links, ads, etc to put on your blog or website. Some even give you a FREE website like my ACE Hardware and the DISH TV Retailer ones. I have more available on my website..... you can pick the ones you like most. I always suggest picking the ones with the best 'name recognition' because they will draw more attention and have a better keyword search pattern. If you need more help.....e-mail me. Offer your services as an assistant to help others, perhaps as a virtual assistant, perhaps as a blog post writer. Start by kicking in your own blog. You can earn small amountrs of money through affiiliate programs, depending on how much traffic you can generate, and also through 'paid reviews' (depending typicallybon the Google PageRank of your blog). Since it takes time to build a subscriber list and PageRank, you will need a lot of a) patience and b) a lot of persistence getting your name out there. I do quite a bit of my work at oDesk.com, which has no fees. I'll tell you frankly that the kind of work you're listing doesn't pay well -- you're competing for work with people from much less expensive countries, and the pay scales are very low. However, many people find that they are able to build their skills and increase their rates as they go along. If you have any specialized skills, you can make a good living, so it's worth developing some. Good luck!

Many job boards are free like Craigslist. If you have a website or blog you can do PPC, affiliate programs like Clickbank or both. If you want to work in your community, then a part-time independent sales rep may be the way to go.

Based on experience, I prefer Elance for higher paying projects but you need to pay a membership fee. There are also free work at home job sites that offer administrative projects. Hrm. I would suggest specific niches online, if you want to make money online its all about niches. If you like to write, write articles for people, if you want to provide online tech support, google around for outsourced tech support positions.   I know there are lots of jobs out there for people who like to write. Also keep us informed of your success in searching for an online job.    The truth, that I have found is, that its very hard to make a reliable income at home if you do not know how to program, cannot do web page design and so on. Making SOLID money at home is very technically challenging and its hard to work for someone and make the good money, its all about starting your own company. Prehapes start a company that helps people find jobs online, and only deal with reputable companies and people. With a little bit of research I am sure you can make that work with primarily research and talking on the phone to people.

I have a friend who is working for West at Home ( www.westathome.com) and loves it. No fees not even for background check. It usually takes about 6-8 weeks to get hired. If you like answering calls to help people with concerns and complaints and are willing to take the heat once in a while, you may like it.
