Does anyone know of an insurance company with a low minimum policy for a Hot Dog Truck with 1 employee and a $6,000-10,000 yearly payroll. I can't seem to find anything that would fit into my budget.
Or could any small businesses with not too many employees recommend me who they use?
You might check with your state department of insurance. Some states have an insurance fund where small businesses can obtain WC coverage at the lowest rates.
If you are located in the State of Colorado, check with Pinnacol.
Also, if you belong to your local chamber of commerce sometimes they offer discounted programs.

Check with your state's department of insurance. Example in CA, its too small for regular companies so people would use State Fund. This is a state run company.
