The Nevada Small Business Development Center is offering a workshop on funding for small businesses on December 2 and 3 at the Nugget in Sparks, NV. It highlights funding under the Small Business Innovation Research Program that provides around $2.6 billion dollars to high technology companies. Four SBIR agencies are represented as at least five angel and venture funding organizations. The workshop can help companies learn how to apply for and win the grants and contracts available through SBIR. Attendees can learn how to stay on track for success and achieve next level funding whether that involves investment capital, sales to the government or to private industry.
