i was thinking the same thing 6+brms is a very large house. I gather its to house a number of extended family, but if thats the case, are they all willing to go on the mortgage note? Asking a bank to lend to a sigle income family on a home of that size is a big ask. If you have other people contributing to the paymants this could help but the also need to go on the loan

Why such a large home? Most home ownership is based on leveraging current income. example, a home costs $100K and a person looking to buy a home can save $1,000 per month from their current income. If they save each month - it will take 1,000 months to have the money to puchase that home - which more than likely would have gone up in value during that time frame. Or, they could leverage that $1,000 per month - get a loan to buy the house today - then use that $1,000 a month to pay back the loan - may take them 1,100 months do to interest - but, they get the house now and then when it increases in value - they also get that benefit. You will not find a grant for your situation - but, if you have a steady job - you might be able to leverage your income to puchase it via a loan.

We lived in Morgantown  WV all our life we lived in same house over 25 years our motuage company always raised never  lower our interest rate as my husband's is on s.s we have a guarantee in come to make payments but sense we just filled chapter 7 we can't even rent a place Our son an his family moved us out to las Vegas  NV in order to try to help But as their family is getting larger, we only have a small room .Whitch we store all that we have left. in So moving in the next 2-3 mounts  will be harder. We don't know where to turn .
