Hello there my name is Giles Setzler and I am a nineteen year old freshman at Texas Tech University. I am an aspiring entrepreneur and I hope to own several businesses down the road. I am obsessed with the idea of building a sustainable company that can supply jobs for many people. I plan to be a business leader that can give advice to other young entrepreneurs. So my question is, are there any young entrepreneurs out there that live near the Lubbock area or in Texas that I can discuss things with? Our current Higher Educational system scares me quite a bit and I would love to create an organization for young aspiring entrepreneurs that think college is a waste of money like myself and would like to discuss their ideas with other young, creative minds. I hope to hear some responses. Thank you for your time.

education, the broader your outlook and therein lies the vast open landscape
of the true entrepreneurial spirit. It is difficult if not impossible to
predict in advance just where your inspiration will come from. Skipping a
formal education cuts off potential sources of inspiration, but if that is
what you have chosen to do, please continue your education on your own by
reading voraciously.

like to take the opportunity to wish you luck in all your future endeavors. I
loved the way you want to create your own future something which I totally
understand and feel as I have also gone through the same a few years back.

into the largest transit company in the United States. I've invested quite a
bit into the project, but I get what you mean college is over rated. If you
look at culinary school they cost near $50,000(for a decent education) and
the average Chef makes anywhere from $10.00 to $12.00, it's pretty sad.

My business is built on & around sustainable too.
I plan to hire locally & I'm already supporting other Indie owners worldwide
by allowing tjem to.place some of their high quality handcrafted items in my
store. That helps grows their business & helps me.
I also plan to help the less fortunate once I'm able.
I'm a stylist, I went to school for hair, I love fashion & I love handmades &
eco-friendly.
Although college helps under certain circumstances, at some point when you
can't find a job but are constantly getting in debt,I still agree & relate to
you very well, just not sure if it's not worth it.
I also would love to inspire others as well.
