Are you interested in learning how your business can become 8(a), HubZone and Women Owned Business for purposes of obtaining contracts from the Federal Government? Then come to our Certification Program seminar. The Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside Program is an initiative created by the SBA to provide greater contracting opportunities for women-owned businesses by allowing certain contracts to be competed only among businesses registered by WOSB's. The SBA HubZone Program mission is to promote job growth, capital investment and economic development to Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) by providing contracting assistance to small businesses located in these economically distressed communities. The SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program, named for a section of the Small Business Act, is a business development program created to help small disadvantaged businesses compete in the American economy and access the federal procurement market. If you are interested in learning the eligibility requirements for participating in these programs, please see information below on how to register. The workshop will cover the benefits of participating in these programs. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the workshop. The workshop begins promptly at 1:00 p.m.
