Duluth, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Duluth Center for Economic Development will hold a workshop for Encore Entrepreneurs, Start a Business for Baby Boomers, on April 9, 2014, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Duluth Technology Village.

As Baby Boomers retire from the traditional workforce many are choosing to start their own business. These "encore entrepreneurs" are not ready to stop working and have decided to take the initiative to start their own business. Are you over 50 and considering starting your own business? Join us for lunch to hear from successful encore entrepreneurs about their experiences and from a SBA representative to learn more about how you can start your own business. Topics discussed include getting started, writing a business plan, and the resources available when preparing to start a business.
