Innoventor growth supported by SBA Jobs Act Loan
St. Louis – SBA Administrator Karen Mills will visit St. Louis-based Innoventor on Wednesday to tout the company’s innovation and plans for creating 60 new jobs with the support of a $5 million loan made possible through the Small Business Jobs Act that was signed by President Obama in September.
Innoventor, Inc. is the go-to company for businesses who have an idea and want it invented. It’s been a part of building: a non-invasive, magnetically controlled heart catheter machine; a chiller for use in human laser surgery; aerospace and defense equipment that helps keep the planes in the air; TheraStride, a technology developed through funding from the Christopher Reeve Foundation, that helps people with spinal cord injuries restore their ability to walk; and green technology that converts swine manure into biofuels and asphalt.
