SBA & AARP Present Encore "Wantrapreneur" Day - North San Diego County

Are you tired of punching the clock for someone else, but think you can't find another job at your age?  Are your kids out of the house, freeing you to re-enter the job market?  Are you nearing retirement, but don't know what you will do with all that free time - or wonder how you will manage once you retire?

 
If so, the U.S. Small Business Administration wants to help.  Join us on February 6th with our cosponsors AARP as we host a half-day training event, with a continental breakfast, designed to link business owners and “wantrapreneurs” with community resources to help solve their most critical business needs.

SBA and AARP representatives will open the program by providing a brief overview of their organizations. Followed by the sharing of success stories, by senior entrepreneurs, in a session entitled:  “We Thought We Were Going to Retire, Right?  Re-Careering Senior Success Stories”.  In addition, there will be two workshops entitled: “Everything You Need to Know about Operating a Home-Based Business” and "Exploring Franchise Options”.  The event will end with a panel of representatives from traditional and alternative small business lenders addressing:  How to Find Sources of Capital.
