The U.S. Small Business Administration will co-sponsor a workshop on how to start rebuilding good credit. The workshop is free and open to the public.

Crystal Kudlak, a consumer credit counselor with Apprisen, will review how to:

  • Get credit reports for no cost
  • Read credit reports
  • Dispute errors on credit reports
  • Rebuild good credit

Immediately following the workshop, Ms. Kudlak will hold short one-on-one sessions with attendees.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Roane County Public Library. Register online at www.wvscore.org.

“Having good credit is essential in getting financial assistance to start a new business or expand a current business,” said Judy McCauley, director of SBA’s West Virginia District Office. “This workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to start rebuilding good credit and I encourage everyone interested to take advantage of this free workshop.”
