SBA to Co-Sponsor Workshop Targeted to Repairing Credit Scores - April 18th

The U.S. Small Business Administration will co-sponsor a workshop on how to start rebuilding good credit. The workshop is free and open to the public.

Crystal Kudlak, a consumer credit counselor with Apprisen, will review how to:

  • Get credit reports for no cost
  • Read credit reports
  • Dispute errors on credit reports
  • Rebuild good credit

Immediately following the workshop, Ms. Kudlak will hold short one-on-one sessions with attendees.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, Apr. 18, 2013 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Unlimited Futures on 1650 8th Avenue in Huntington. Register online at www.wvscore.org.

“Having good credit is essential in getting financial assistance to start a new business or expand a current business,” said Judy McCauley, director of SBA’s West Virginia District Office. “This workshop is a great opportunity to learn how to start rebuilding good credit and I encourage everyone interested to take advantage of this free workshop.”
