SBA offers “Show Me the Money!” Workshop in Huntington at RCBI
Aspiring entrepreneurs looking for sources of financing can join the West Virginia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration for a “Show Me the Money” workshop Friday, May 16.
Leo Lopez, SBA lender relations specialist; Emma Wilson, SBA Branch Manager; and James Gordon of KISRA Microloan Business Lending Specials review loan guarantee programs available through the agency. SBA participates in a number of loan programs designed for business owners who may have trouble qualifying for a traditional bank loan.
“In 2013, SBA guaranteed an excess of $39.8 million in loans for West Virginia small businesses,” states SBA WV District Director Judy McCauley. “I encourage everyone to attend this workshop and learn about the loan-guarantee programs the SBA offers to help small businesses start, grow, and succeed.”
The workshop begins at 1:00 p.m. at RCBI, located at 1050 Fourth Avenue in Huntington, WV. Registration is required www.sba.gov/wv.
